Customer Creation
Customer creation in RiseMoney is a simple and quick task.
From the main home page, type in the name of the customer and press search. This de-duplication process (dedupe), prevents the user from creating a customer that might already exist.
You can run the de-dupe using a number of customer attributes such as Name, Customer Address, Parent’s name, Driver License Number, PAN etc.
If the customer is found as a part of the search, then you of course dont need to create the customer and can skip to the Case creation step or any further operation with the customer.
If however you are satisfied that the customer does not exist in the system, then you can go ahead and click on the “New Customer Registration” button/link to create the customer.
The form is rather self-explanatory (the mandatory fields are marked in Dark Red).
You can enter multiple Phone Numbers and Mobile Numbers for a customer but they have to follow a format valid for India. (+91 91234 12345 for Mobile Number and +91 141 2314123 for Landline Numbers).
Customer photos can also be included during the upload.
A unique customer Registration Code is generated for each new customer. A new customer without any cases in the system is called a “Prospect”. Once this customer has an active loan case, the status changes to “Active”.
The customer can also be used a Guarantor, Co-Applicant or Nominee in the system.
